This apparatus is designed to induce blast-induced traumatic brain injury (bTBI) in a mouse model. It uses easy-to-obtain pressurized CO2 cartridges and blast pressure is adjustable for a range of applications. A modified version has also been used as a simple biolistic particle delivery system (“gene gun”).
